Pretty Pink Posh | Thoughtful Greetings | Simple Cardmaking

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to all!

Today’s card project features Pretty Pink Posh’s Thoughtful Greetings stamp set and Village Additions stamp set. I love making clean, simple cards to have on hand for giving. I absolutely love the classic and heartfelt messages included in this sentiment set. I can totally see myself reaching for these time and time again to add a beautiful sentiment for both the inside or outside of my card designs.

For this pair of handmade cards, I used the remaining pastel pink watercolor pattern paper I had leftover from a previous Valentine card project and layered it with a cut of classic crest pewter card stock. To achieve perfect layers, I used my set of tried and true nesting A2 layers dies and nesting stitched rectangle dies from Waffle Flower Crafts. I adhered the layers together using a light application of Bearly Arts liquid adhesive.

Ask Me How I Know Quick Tip: When using liquid adhesive on pattern paper, apply a thin layer as to not oversaturate the paper. I find most pattern paper to be thin and lightweight which doesn’t hold up well if using too much adhesive. Another alternative is to use adhesive tape, but to be careful when applying as to not tear or crinkle the paper.

For the images, I used the series of tiny flower pots and the little gift boxes from the Pretty Pink Posh’s Village addition stamp set. To achieve a crisp and clean impression of my images and sentiment, I used my Misti stamping tool coupled with my Gina K. Designs Amalgam obsidian ink. I colored the images using my most favorite pastel alcohol marker set from Ohuhu. To finish the cards, I paired them with a Kraft envelope for giving.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have a fabulous day and fun weekend of crafting and creating!
