Lawn Fawn | Milk and Cookies into Donuts and Coffee

Happy Friday! Today’s card was a fun challenge, and I’m so excited to share it with you.

I had the idea of using Lawn Fawn’s classic Milk and Cookies stamp set for a donut and coffee themed card project!

First, I began by stamping the milk glass and two chocolate chip cookies, one whole one and one with the bite in it. I then used my hole punch to create a donut hole in the middle of the cookies. I took my Ohuhu fine line pens and connected the chocolate chips turning them into chocolate glaze or sprinkles. I used a brown alcohol marker to color in the donuts and topped them with Glossy Accents to add a glaze.

Moving on to the milk glass, I drew in a handle. I colored everything in with a black alcohol marker turning it into a coffee mug. I added some Stickles glitter glue to the mug and made coffee inside. I then hand cut and colored a spoon handle. I used a craft blade to cut a small opening in the top of the mug in order to slide the spoon partially behind. I added a die cut heart in a pretty light blue.

For my background card panel, I ink blended blue hearts using the Waffle Flower Crafts duo hearts stencil. I created a faded heart shadow and blended over the entire panel with VersaMagic sea breeze chalk ink to soften lines. I then came in with my Versafine Claire nocturne ink and stamped a sporadic pattern of hearts. I cut the background down using a Waffle Flower Crafts stitched rectangle die and then layered the panel in a medium blue and black card stock. I adhered the final panel to an A2 sized card base.

I used Versamark ink to stamp the “we belong together” sentiment and then heat embossed in white onto black card stock. I used the smallest Lawn Fawn’s Everyday sentiment banner die to cut out the sentiment.

Final touches to the card were adding Stickles glitter to the inside of the stamped hearts, popping up and placing down the images, and silver embossing a stitched swirl (from Lawn Fawn’s “Toboggan Together” stamp set) to create steam from the mug.

This was a lot of fun to make! Thank you for visiting, and I hope you have an amazing Monday!
