It’s your BIG day!
Today’s handmade project features Pretty Pink Posh’s Gift Card Bag Dies.
My family loves to give little gifts to family, friends, teachers, and acquaintances throughout the year, so I am using this last bit of summer to make a few gift tags and gift card holders to have on hand!
This gift bag die cut the panels of my Hammermill card stock so easily! There were no little stubborn bits. Can I get a yahoo, crafters? …YAHOO!
In no time, you can have a couple of these super cute gift card holders created and ready for giving.
This little gift bag gift card holder would be so cute to use for many holiday projects! From Valentine’s Day to Halloween, I’m thinking up some fun, crafty goodness with this set.
How adorable would it be to use this die and add some cute Halloween critters like these or these to the front for the perfect “You’ve been Booed!” or “You’ve been Ghosted!” gift project. We love “booing” and “ghosting” (in a good way :-)) our neighbors every fall on October 1st!
For the background of this gift card holder project, I chose to ink smoosh layers of Distress Oxide spiced marmalade ink. I allowed it to dry and then die cut the panels. Next, I folded along the perforated cut lines and assembled the front and back pieces of the bag together using 1/8″ Tear Rific Tape by Simon Says Stamp. I paired the adorable little alligator from the Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Signs stamp set and added in a little balloon from the Pretty Pink Posh Balloon Alphabet stamp set. I used my Ohuhu Honolulu series pastel alcohol marker set to color the images. I love how the balloon has a fun marbled look to it.
For the sentiment, I chose “It’s your big day” to stamp inside the alligator’s message board.
