Trinity Stamps | Baby Bunny | Welcome Little One Card Project

It’s been quite a while since I have been able to send a baby gift to someone I know. My hair stylist is back from maternity leave, and I can’t wait to see her today and hear all about her sweet baby girl.

This special card is paired with a handmade baby blanket that I crocheted in a charcoal gray ombré. The blanket may be a bit too warm to use right now. However, it will be perfect for use in the stroller or car seat when out and about this fall and winter. 💕

This card layout features the Baby Bunny stamp set by Trinity Stamps. This set was released around Easter 2023, and I immediately fell in love with all the card inspiration by the design team. The little bunnies with their adorable little whiskers were too cute to pass up.

First, I stamped my bunny image using Gina K. Designs amalgam ink to a piece of white Hammermill card stock. I then stamped it again onto a piece of Gina K. Designs masking magic. Next, I cut out the bunny image from the masking tape and placed it on top of the stamped bunny image that was on the card stock panel. I ink blended a soft sky and grass using my Distress oxide inks on top of the bunny image. I chose the color combo of Twisted Citron and Salvaged Patina. This gave a beautiful pop of color to the central image of the card design. I then gently peeled off the masking tape and proceeded to color the bunny image using red gray, light gray and eggshell in the Ohuhu pastel alcohol marker set.

Lastly, I hand painted a little grass and flower scene around the bunny using my earth half pan set by Arteza. Using my most favorite stitched rectangle dies, I die cut and mounted the card panel onto a cut of pewter card stock. I used think adhesive foam to pop it up onto an A2 sized card base. The sentiment “Welcome Little One” included in the stamp set completed this card project.

I had so much fun making this card and baby blanket, but even more so in gifting it!

Thank you for joining me today. Have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to seeing you back here at the blog again real soon! Be sure to follow me on the socials for more crafty fun!

Card Project Supplies:

Crochet Baby Blanket: Single crochet stitch in back loop only. Added border to finish.

I love how soft this chenille-style yarn is and that you can easily machine wash/dry. However, I tend to wash in cold water on delicate cycle then lay flat to dry.
