About
I began paper crafting years ago making party decor for my family celebrations and holidays. I created a little crafting nook in my house and found myself engaged with the imagining, cutting and assembling of each handmade piece.
I found an appreciation for stamping and card making too which so wonderfully ties in to my earlier paper crafting memories.
Most recently, I learned how to crochet and began making basic projects like cozy blankets and warm winter hats.
What inspires me? All things bright and beautiful!
I hope by sharing my projects, you are encouraged to also create and to enjoy the wonderful world of handmade.

Happy Tuesday, friends! I’m so excited that I got to spend a little time in the craft room this past weekend. I decided to create a little more with the Village stamp set and Village Additions stamp set with coordinating dies by Pretty Pink Posh.
Of course, this provided me a chance to experiment with my Ohuhu pastel Honolulu alcohol marker set.
When I find myself in a creative block or just lacking a bit of creative energy, I like to flip through my pattern paper supply and imagine pretty paper combos. This helps kick-start my mind for potential projects, plus it’s a great way to revisit using that beautiful stack of pattern paper that sometimes I tend to forget about. For today’s card projects, I chose three complimentary pattern papers – a floral, stripe, and brushed watercolor.
Hello and welcome! I’m so happy to share with you today a card project featuring the Graceful Butterfly embossing folder and dies from Simon Says Stamp. I love how easy this set is to use. The beautiful and versatile butterflies add instant elegance to any card.
I have used the butterfly images both plain and embossed for different card designs. But, recently, I have enjoyed using my embossing folders as a raised canvas for watercolor!
